[The first thing you'll see on your PokeGear will be the ground, more specifically, the grass and several flowers somewhat jumbled together in a green blur. Scout is attempting to get the recording function to work, and even though it technically is recording at the moment, he doesn't realize such, and he shakes around the device for a bit until finally, finally flipping it to face himself.]

Ah, awright, awright.

Hey, yo! So I don't have a freakin' clue how I got here or anythin' but I'm hearin' there are sweet monsters and shit just hangin' around for me to catch and battle with and dat's pretty freakin' sweet!

I uh, wasn't paying much attention t' dat weird professor dude but I think I'm supposed to use this little guy here [PokeGear suddenly faces an eager Tyrogue who jumps up and down in place, then goes back to Scout.] ta win battles and shit and become da best.

[Now the PokeGear's being held a little further away, so you can see Scout puff up his chest.]

I was da best back home so I ain't seein' a challenge here.

Ty! Tyyy!

[Scout looks over at the Tyrogue, who is still jumping around.]

Huh, dis little guy seems ta agree with dat.

Anyway! Anyone who hears dis, uh, name's Scout and I'll be battlin' ya when I see ya. Don't piss yer pants at how awesome I am, cause I ain't gonna stand fer smellin' dat crap.

Huh. I just thought of somethin' ... these guys, these uh, Pokemon. I hope they don't use litter boxes or anything like'at. Cause I ain't cleanin' anything up.

You can toilet train them, but it's something that takes a lot of patience. Worth it if you don't feel like cleaning up litter everyday, though.

Patience ain't my thing. Maybe I'll find someone else t'do it. Or I'll just toss Champ into a Porta-Pot and not let him out till he's done.

Oh, you'll want to be very careful about doing that. Get someone else to train it, and odds are it won't respect you enough to do what you tell it.

You'd have to do something to assert yourself as an alpha in the pecking order, if you did that.

[That serious expression didn't last long, of course, since now Scout's snickering at the term 'pecking order'.]
